BIO

Albert Li is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Li primarily devotes his practice to complex construction litigation and premises liability. He has experience representing developers, contractors, and design professionals in construction defect claims, default claims, bond claims, and contract disputes involving residential and commercial projects. Mr. Li has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2018-2023 and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Along with his legal experience, he is also a Florida Certified General Contractor.

Mr. Li earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his JD/MBA from St. Thomas University School of Law. At St. Thomas University, Mr. Li was awarded the Dean’s List letter and awarded the Bunvenuti-Mulvey Donor Scholarship. During law school Mr. Li Clerked at the Third District Court of Appeal for the Honorable Judge Shepherd and interned with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Prior to college, Mr. Li served in the U.S. Navy and deployed as a Navy SWCC.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Li worked at some of the largest Florida firms focusing on the representation of general contractors and developers in complex construction matters.
