Kayla A. Marshall is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Ms. Marshall earned a degree in Business Management from Florida State University and a Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law. While earning her law degree, Ms. Marshall served as a judicial clerk for the circuit judges in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Seminole County. Most notably, she participated in the State of Florida v. George Zimmerman trial under The Honorable Debra S. Nelson.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marshall gained experience in a variety of law firms ranging from criminal defense, construction litigation, personal injury, family law, workers compensation, and bankruptcy. In addition, she served in the legal department at the Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office, by which she gained experience in ad valorem tax law, homestead, exemptions, and tangible personal property. She also has a background in real estate and holds a Real Estate Sales Associate License.
