Mr. Valantasis’ practice is focused on complex construction litigation, representing general contractors, engineers, architects, developers, owners, suppliers, builders, surveyors and subcontractors, and handles all types of claims regarding construction/design disputes, from start to finish of a project, including design defect, construction defect, contractual payment disputes, roofing, electrical, masonry, site contracting, geotechnical, delay claims, personal injury defense (construction related), engineering design defense, mechanic’s liens, and government construction contract disputes. Further, Mr. Valantasis has extensive experience with contract negotiation, drafting and risk management for large value construction projects.
Mr. Valantasis has served as a speaker and panelist regarding Professional Engineering legal issues, AIA Contracts, Florida Construction Liens, and Contract Management / Design Build agreements.
